1. Who is responsible for your information?
EduPath Educational Consulting is the personal information controller for personal information you choose to provide through our website, email, telephone, social-media page, consultations, and related communications.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on your inquiry, we may receive your name, email address, telephone or messaging number, contact type, intended institution or program, preferred intake, education-related questions, and any other information you voluntarily include in your message.
Please do not send passport copies, government identification numbers, financial records, medical information, academic records, or other sensitive documents through the initial website inquiry.
3. Why we use this information
We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations, understand education goals, provide requested guidance, prepare or deliver agreed services, maintain necessary business correspondence, protect our operations, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use consultation information for unrelated purposes without an appropriate legal basis or additional consent.
4. Consent and lawful processing
When you submit an inquiry, you confirm that you have read this policy and consent to the processing of the information you provide for consultation and response purposes. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, subject to information we must retain for an ongoing service, legal obligation, or legitimate claim.
5. How the website consultation form works
The current form prepares a draft message in your own email application. You can review, change, or cancel the message before sending it. The website itself does not maintain a database of these form entries. Once you send the email, the message is processed through your email provider and received in EduPath’s business email account.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that support email, website hosting, communications, document preparation, or other necessary business operations. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or legitimate legal interests.
We do not send personal information to a university, government office, scholarship provider, or other institution as part of an application or referral without your knowledge and an appropriate basis.
7. International processing
Because EduPath supports international education activities and uses online service providers, information may be accessed or processed outside the Philippines. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use the information only for its stated purpose and to protect it appropriately.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your inquiry, provide an agreed service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve concerns, or meet legal requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted or disposed of.
9. Security
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No internet or email transmission is completely risk-free, so please limit initial inquiries to information necessary for us to respond.
10. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we process your information and request access, correction, updating, restriction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent. You may also raise a concern with EduPath or lodge a complaint with the Philippine National Privacy Commission.
11. Information about minors
A parent or legal guardian should make or supervise inquiries involving a minor. Please do not submit a child’s sensitive records through the initial contact form.
12. Cookies and analytics
EduPath does not currently use its own advertising cookies or behavioral profiling on this website. Essential technical data may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure to deliver and secure the website. If analytics, advertising tools, or additional forms are introduced, this policy will be updated as appropriate.
13. Contact and complaints
For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@edupathph.com. Please state “Privacy Request” in the subject and describe your request clearly. You may also consult the National Privacy Commission.
14. Policy updates
We may update this policy when our services, technologies, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest published version.
